*Note: Livestream Tools are only available on iOS and the Web at this time.
As a live seller, there are now several tools available during your show that can help boost your selling experience. This article will walk you through how to unlock and use these tools!
At this time, seller tools will be toggled off by default, so sellers will need to manually Opt-in to be able to utilize these features. Seller tools can only be toggled on within the mobile app.
Enable Seller Tools
- Select your "Profile" icon on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
- Tap the Menu two-line icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and click on "Settings".
- Toggle on "Seller Tools"
Randomizer:
This feature is a spin wheel built into your show! You can pre-fill it with sports teams, or add custom items. For breaks, you can also attach a wheel result to a customer's order, and it will appear on the Seller Hub and packing slip! Important: all existing Whatnot Gambling, Purchase-Based Prizes, Break and Mystery Box Policies must be followed when using the randomizer.
- While live or in Camera Preview mode, select the 3 dot menu on the right hand side
- Scroll down, and choose "Randomizer"
- Select "Show spinwheel"
- You can fill entries with a pre-designated list of NBA/NFL/MLB teams using one of the buttons under "Options", or type directly into the "Manual Entry" field to set up custom entries.
- Once entries are added, you can choose "Shuffle entries" to shuffle the entry list, and "Spin wheel" to run the wheel
- After the wheel completes and an entry is selected, you can access the Randomizer menu and choose "Remove" to remove that entry from the wheel
Camera Zoom:
This feature allows you to zoom in and out with your camera while live on your mobile device! You can cycle between your normal camera view, an ultra wide view, and a close-up view! Here's how it works:
- While live, select the 3 dot menu on the right hand side
- Select "Zoom Camera"
- To cycle between different views, simply select the "Zoom Camera" option again from within this menu!
*Please Note: your iOS device must have a camera that supports zooming out to 0.5x for the Zoom feature to be enabled.
Facecam:
This feature will allow you to use both the rear and front-facing camera on a single mobile device! Here's how it works:
- While live, select the 3 dot menu on the right hand side
- Scroll down, and select "Facecam"
- This will active both the rear and front-facing camera on your device!
