Add and edit Show Notes

Show Notes are an easy way to share important details with viewers during your show. You can use them to highlight things like:

• Rules for your selling format (like a break)

• Information about giveaways

• Details about special items you’re auctioning

• Fun or personal info about you or your show

You can add, edit, or remove Show Notes before your show starts or while you're live, right from the Whatnot app and whatnot.com.

Add a Show Note

When you create a Show Note:

• Viewers will see a minimized Show Notes sticky on their screen
• They can tap it to open and read your note 
• Tip: Viewers on the iOS app can long-press your note to copy it 

To add a Show Note: 

1. From Seller Hub, open your upcoming show
2. Select Show Notes to create a draft:  
   • On the app: Tap the yellow Show Notes sticky in the top left 
   • On whatnot.com: Tap the Notes icon on the bottom right 
3. Type or paste in your note
4. Post your note

Edit a Show Note

When you edit a note: 

• Viewers will see your changes right away
• If you update mid-show, a small badge appears on your note to show something's new

To edit your Show Notes: 

1. From Seller Hub, open your show
2. Select your existing Show Note: 
   • On the app: Tap the yellow Show Notes sticky in the top left 
   • On whatnot.com: Tap the Notes icon on the bottom right
3. Edit the text
4. Tap Update (app) or Post (web)

Remove a Show Note

When you delete your note:

• Your note disappears from viewers’ screens right away 
• From the app, you'll still see the sticky note with the last version in case you want to repost

To remove a Show Note from the app: 

1. From Seller Hub, open your show
2. Tap your existing Show Notes sticky
3. Tap Unpost

To remove a Show Note from whatnot.com: 

1. From Seller Hub, open your show
2. Tap the Notes icon on the bottom right
3. Delete all the text in your note
4. Click Post
