When you list an item as Buy It Now (also called Buy Now or BIN), you can allow buyers to make offers on the listing price. If a buyer sends an offer, you can accept, counter with a different price, or decline.
This gives buyers more flexibility and gives you the opportunity to negotiate a sale.
You can turn on offers for any BIN listing, whether it’s reserved for a show or not.

Allow offers on a BIN product
You can allow buyers to make offers when you create a new Buy It Now product listing.
When you allow offers:
- Buyers will see an Offer icon next to the product.
- They can suggest a percentage discount or enter a custom amount to offer.

Turn on offers for a listing in the app
- Open the Whatnot app
- Tap Seller Hub at the bottom of the screen
- Choose Create a Product
- Scroll down to Pricing, and select Buy It Now
- Turn the toggle on next to Accept Offers
Turn on offers for a listing on whatnot.com
- Sign in to whatnot.com
- Click your account icon in the top right
- From the Selling tab, select Seller Hub
- Open the Inventory page from the left menu
- Click Create Product
- Under Pricing, select Buy It Now
- Turn the toggle on next to Accept Offers
Tip: Already created the product? You can turn on offers anytime by editing the listing from your Inventory page in Seller Hub.
Notes:
If you import products from your shop to a show, offers are turned on by default.
If you use the CSV upload feature, enter TRUE in the Offerable column to ensure uploaded products accept offers. See this CSV template for updated fields.
Respond to offers
You can respond to offers during a live show or from your Seller Hub.
When you respond to offers:
If you Accept, the buyer is charged and you can pack and ship the order.
If you Counter, you can enter a custom amount. The buyer is notified and can respond.
If you Decline, the buyer is notified. You may need to relist the item from Seller Hub > Inventory > Inactive.
Tip: If you see Waiting for seller next to an item on your Orders page, a buyer has submitted an offer and is waiting for your response. Review the offer and accept it if you plan to move the order forward and ship the item.
Respond to an offer from Seller Hub
In the Whatnot app:
- Tap Seller Hub at the bottom of the screen
- Choose menu icon (☰) in the top right
- Select Offers
- Find and select the offer you want to respond to
- Choose to decline, counter, or accept
On whatnot.com:
- From whatnot.com, click your account icon in the top right
- From the Selling tab, select Seller Hub
- Hover over Inventory in the left menu
- Open the Offers page
- Find the offer and click Respond
- Choose to decline, counter, accept or message the buyer
Respond to offers from a live show
- From whatnot.com, open your scheduled show
- Click on Offers to review any incoming (you can search and sort too)
- You can choose to:
- Accept the highest offer
- Counter all offers
- Reject all offers
