View and manage show clips

When you create and publish a show clip, that clip will appear on your profile page and can be viewed by anyone visiting your profile. If you’ve created a clip but didn’t publish it, it will only be visible to you. 

If you want to remove clips from your profile, you can:

• Hide clips taken by you or others on your shows.
• Delete published or unpublished clips you’ve taken. 
• Remove all clips from your profile. 

Note: Creating, trimming, and publishing clips are only available on the iOS mobile app, but you can view all clips on the web browser or iOS mobile app. 

Accessing and Viewing Show Clips on Your Profile

1. Open the Whatnot app on your iOS device or web browser.
2. Go to your or another user’s profile page.
3. If you’re on the mobile app, tap the Clips tab to populate the list of clips on that profile.
   
   
4. Click or tap any clip to view it.  

Clips are grouped on your profile by: 

• Clips you’ve taken from your’s or another user’s show.
• Clips other people have taken in your shows. 

Hiding or Deleting a Clip on Your Profile 

If you want to hide a clip, note that you can only hide clips on your profile from your shows (taken by you or others). You won’t be able to hide clips on your profile that you’ve captured of other sellers. 

To delete a clip, you must be the owner of that clip.

1. Open the Whatnot app on your iOS device. 
2. Go to your Whatnot profile. 
3. Scroll down and tap on the clip you want to hide or delete. 
4. Tap the More button on the right-hand side.
   
   
5. Tap Hide clip from profile or Delete Clip.
   
   
6. If you chose to delete your clip, click Delete in the pop-up window to confirm your selection. 

Removing all show clips on your profile

If you’d like to remove all current and future clips you take or that are taken from your show:

1. Open the Whatnot app on your iOS device. 
2. Tap the person icon in the bottom menu.
   
   
3. Tap the Menu two-lines icon in the top right corner.
   
   
4. Tap Settings.
   
5. Scroll down to the Clips of you section and tap the toggle to turn off this feature. This will prevent any existing or future clips from appearing on your profile.
