Resolve a “Waiting for seller” order

On your Orders page in Seller Hub, if you see Waiting for seller next to a Buy It Now (BIN) item, it means the buyer has sent you an offer. 

You’ll need to review the offer and respond for the order to move forward. 

What “Waiting for seller” means

• You’ve listed an item as Buy It Now and allowed buyers to make offers on it

• A buyer has submitted an offer for the item

• The system is waiting for you to decline, counter, or accept the offer 

Reply to the offer to resolve it 

You can respond to the buyer’s offer from the Offers page in Seller Hub. 

If you accept the offer, the buyer will be charged and you can pack and ship your order.

Respond to an offer the Whatnot app:

1. Tap Seller Hub at the bottom of the screen

2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right

3. Select Offers

4. Find the offer for the item marked Waiting for seller

5. Choose to Accept, Counter, or Decline

Respond to an offer on whatnot.com:

1. Sign in to whatnot.com

2. Click your account icon in the top right

3. From the Selling tab, select Seller Hub

4. Hover over Inventory in the left menu, then click Offers

5. Find the offer for the item marked Waiting for seller

6. Choose to Accept, Counter, or Decline
