If your purchase or giveaway hasn’t arrived yet, here’s how to check tracking, understand typical delivery times, and know when to reach out for help.
On this page:
- What to expect
- Check your order status and tracking
- If your order hasn’t shipped yet
- If tracking hasn’t updated or looks stuck in transit
- If your order's marked “delivered” but you don’t have it
What to expect
Most sellers ship within 2 business days of your purchase or giveaway win.
Once shipped:
- Domestic orders usually arrive within 5-14 business days.
- International orders can take up to 28 days, depending on customs and carrier delays.
It’s normal for tracking to pause or update slowly while your package is moving. If your delivery is still within these timeframes, it’s likely still on the way.
Every purchase on Whatnot is covered by Buyer Protection. If something goes wrong, we'll help make it right.
Check your order status and tracking
To find the latest update, you can check your order’s status and tracking details from Activity > Purchases > Order details in the Whatnot app or on whatnot.com.
Some shipping methods, such as USPS First-Class Mail Letter, don’t include full tracking. You’ll still see order status updates in Whatnot so you know what’s happening.
If your order hasn’t shipped yet
If your order status says Preparing Package, the seller hasn’t created the shipping label yet.
If the label hasn’t been created within 7 days of purchase, contact Support for help.
Most sellers ship quickly, but if it’s been a while since you bought the item, your order may qualify for Buyer Protection.
If tracking hasn’t updated or looks stuck in transit
If your order status is stuck on Label Created or Shipping, don’t worry. This is common when:
- The label was just created and hasn’t been scanned yet
- Carriers skip scans during transit
- International packages are waiting in customs
Once your package is with the carrier, delivery times and updates depend on their network and processing.
Contact Support if:
- A domestic order hasn’t arrived after 2 weeks from shipment
- An international order hasn’t arrived after 28 days from shipment
We’ll look into it and keep you updated along the way. Your order may be covered by Buyer Protection.
If your order's marked “delivered” but you don’t have it
Sometimes carriers mark a package as delivered before it actually arrives, or leave it somewhere unexpected.
Try these steps first:
- Wait 1–2 days since packages can show as “delivered” early, right before they arrive.
- Double-check your delivery address for that purchase in your receipt.
- Look around your property or check for a delivery notice.
- Ask neighbors, roommates, or household members if they accepted it.
- Contact the carrier for the latest tracking information.
If you've tried these steps and your package still hasn’t appeared, contact Support within 14 days of when your order was marked delivered and we'll help investigate.
If the carrier confirms delivery to the correct address, Whatnot isn’t responsible for issues after delivery. However, we’ll review your report and may offer a refund at our discretion.
