When does the 4% commission promotion start and end?

Timings for the campaign depend on which country you are selling in.

Who is this promotion available to?

This is a global event, meaning all sellers regardless of country will receive 4% seller commission.

What is the promo? 

4% seller commission on all live and marketplace sales during the event.

Does the fee reduction include payment processing fees?

No, sellers will still pay the standard payment processing fee for each transaction.

How long does this promo run?

The promotion period will run for 24 hours from the start date & time in your country (see above). 

What sales are eligible for the promotion?

The promotion applies to all live and marketplace sales within the promotional period. When you schedule or start your show does not impact if this promotion will apply to a sale — the only thing that matters is when each individual listing’s purchase is processed.

If a customer submits an ‘Offer’ on a listing prior to the start of the promotion and you accept the offer within the promotion period, the promotion will not be valid. This promotion only applies to ‘Offers’ that are both submitted by the customer and accepted by the seller within the promotion period.

This promotion only applies to commission, it does not apply to payment processing fees. Payment processing fees will remain the same. 

What is the big ‘celebrity stream’?

Can I apply for my show to be featured in this campaign?

We will be featuring a number of shows throughout the campaign – be sure to schedule your show in advance using our Canva thumbnail template to boost your chances of being selected.

The ‘Big Game’ Stream

What is the Big Game Stream?

On Sunday 2/8 at 1:00 PM EST, right before the Big Game kicks off, we’re partnering with the biggest creator in the world, MrBeast, who will host the BIGGEST stream in Whatnot history, featuring $1,000,000+ in giveaways. 

The Big Game Stream is a live, interactive livestream on Whatnot with major giveaways, special guest appearances, and live moments happening in real time during Big Game weekend. It will run for approximately one hour.

Is this the same as Big Game Deals or seller promos?

No. This stream is separate from any deals, promotions, or seller programs. It’s a standalone live event focused on entertainment, giveaways, and audience participation.

Can sellers participate?

Seller participation as an on-stream co-host is by invitation only. This is a curated broadcast, not an open seller event. All eligible Whatnot sellers (and buyers) are still able to join as viewers and enter the giveaways.

Where do I watch the stream?

You can watch directly in the Whatnot app. The stream will be promoted in-app and on social channels ahead of the event. The Big Game Stream is best experienced in the Whatnot mobile app, and some features such as chat and giveaway entry may not be fully supported outside the app.
