Update your default shipping label settings (size, return address)

About your default label options 

Before generating new shipping labels, you can update a few default label options, including:

  • Label size: 8.5 x 11 inches (default) or 4 x 6 inches

  • Packing slip size: 8.5 x 11 inches (default) or 4 x 6 inches

  • Return address: Must include a first and last name (or use “Shipping,” “Department,” or your business name)

These defaults apply to every new label you create. 

Note: You can’t change the return address after a label is created. Double-check your settings before generating labels.

Update your default label options 

To update the settings used for new labels:

  1. From whatnot.com, open the Shipments page in Seller Hub

  2. In the top-right corner, click open the Sidebar (before opening a specific shipment).

  3. Under Default Label Options, update:

    1. Shipping label format (default: 8.5 x 11 inches)

    2. Packing slip format (default: 8.5 x 11 inches)

    3. Return address
