Manage your default label options (label size, return address)

Before you generate new shipping labels, you can update default label options like: 

  • Label size: 8.5 x 11 inches (default) or 4 x 6 inches
  • Packing slip size: 8.5 x 11 inches (default) or 4 x 6 inches
  • Return address: Must include a first and last name (or use “Shipping,” “Department,” or a business name)

These defaults apply to every new label you create. 

Note: You can’t change the return address after a label is created. Double-check your settings before generating labels.

Update your default label options 

To update the settings used for new labels:

  1. From whatnot.com, open the Shipments page in Seller Hub
  2. From the top right, click the Sidebar before you open a specific shipment 
  3. Under Default Label Options, make needed changes to:
    • Shipping Label format (default: 8.5 x 11 inches)
    • Packing Slip format (default: 8.5 x 11 inches)
    • Return Address
