How Rewards Club works
While setting up your Rewards Club program, you'll set up:
- Tiers – A progression path for your community from Bronze through Diamond.
- Achievements – Define the actions buyers must complete to unlock each tier.
- Rewards– Offer benefits such as coupons, tier-only shows, and membership badges.
Tiers
Rewards Club includes five tiers:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
As buyers complete achievements, they advance through new tiers and gain access to additional rewards.
For each tier, you'll define the achievements required to unlock it and the rewards buyers will earn.
Achievements
You can choose from three achievement types:
- Shows watched: A buyer receives credit for one show watched after watching your show for at least 10 consecutive minutes. This achievement type is only available for the Bronze tier.
- Purchases completed: Buyers receive credit for each item purchased from a participating seller. If a buyer purchases multiple items in a single show or transaction, each item counts toward their progress.
- Amount spent: Spend-based achievements are calculated using the subtotal of a buyer's purchases. Taxes, shipping costs, and processing fees don't count toward spend-based achievements. If a buyer uses a coupon, only the discounted subtotal counts toward progress. If a single purchase is made to unlock a new tier, any excess spending from that purchase doesn't count toward the next tier.
Achievement requirements and limits
To unlock Bronze, buyers only need to complete one eligible achievement. Minimum requirements for Bronze are set by Whatnot. You can customize achievement thresholds above those minimums to fit your Rewards Club.
To unlock Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, buyers must complete all achievement assigned to that tier. You'll need to configure requirements for both Purchases completed and Amount spent.
Achievement limits
When setting up achievements, keep the following limits in mind:
| Achievement type | Minimum | Maximum |
| Shows watched | 3 | 1,000 |
| Purchases completed | 1 per tier | 10,000 per tier |
| Amount spent | $1 per tier | $1,000,000 per tier |
Rewards
You can reward members with:
- Coupons: Coupons are automatically issued when a buyer unlocks an eligible tier. You can configure percentage-off or amount-off coupons, and define requirements such as minimum purchase amounts or maximum discount values.
- Tier-only shows: Tier-only Shows are exclusive shows available only to members who have reached a specific Rewards Club tier or higher. When scheduling a show, you can choose the minimum tier required to attend, and only eligible members will be able to view and join the show.
- Membership badges: Members automatically receive a badge that reflects their tier when the join in your shows.
Tip: Some sellers build excitement for their Rewards Club by spotlighting a highly anticipated product or exclusive giveaway coming up in a members-only show later in the season.
Reward requirements
You must offer at least one reward—either a coupon or a tier-only show—for:
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
Bronze tier rewards are optional, though many sellers choose to offer them.
Membership badges are available for all tiers. You can customize these badges if you'd like.
Coupon rules and limits
When configuring Rewards Club coupons:
- You can offer multiple coupons for each tier, including a mix of percentage-off and amount-off coupons, within the configured coupon limits.
- Buyers who unlock a tier receive access to all coupons you've assigned to that tier.
- Each coupon can be used only once.
- Coupons can't be stacked or combined with other coupons.
- Coupons can only be redeemed with your account, not another seller.
- Earned coupons don't roll over to the next season.
- Earned coupons expire once a season ends, but buyers have a five-day grace period to redeem any earned coupons.
- Coupons can't be used on offers or when purchasing multiple quantities of an item.
- Purchases made using a Rewards Club coupon are final and aren't eligible for refunds.
Coupon limits
| Coupon type | Limit |
| Maximum coupon value | $10,000 |
| Maximum coupons per tier | 100 |
| Percentage discounts | Whole numbers only, 1%–100% |
Customize your Rewards Club
You can personalize your Rewards Club with custom tier names and badges.
Custom branding helps create a unique experience for your community and can be updated at any time during the season.
You can edit these directly from the Rewards Club page in Seller Hub anytime during the season.
All custom content must follow our Community Guidelines and is subject to review by Whatnot. Buyers can also report content they believe violates our guidelines.
How seasons work
Rewards Club runs in recurring three-month seasons.
You can start a Rewards Club at any time. All Rewards Club programs reset at the same time every three months, giving sellers an opportunity to update achievements and rewards for the next season.
Season schedule:
| Season number | Start date | End date |
| Season 8 (current) | June 1, 2026, 9am PDT | September 1, 2026, 9am PDT |
| Season 7 | March 2, 2026, 9am PST | June 1, 2026, 9am PDT |
| Season 6 | December 1, 2025, 9am PST | March 2, 2026, 9am PST |
| Season 5 | September 2, 2025, 9am PDT | December 1, 2025, 9am PST |
| Season 4 | June 2, 2025, 12pm PST | September 2, 2025, 9am PDT |
| Season 3 | March 3, 2025, 12pm PST | June 2, 2025, 12pm PST |
| Season 2 | December 2, 2024, 12pm PST | March 3, 2025, 12pm PST |
At the end of each season:
- Buyer progress resets, except Diamond members, who begin the next season at Gold
- Eligible coupons remain available during a five-day grace period
- Sellers can update achievements and rewards for the next season
The grace period ends five days (120 hours) from the exact time the season ends. Any unused coupons automatically expire after that.
If you have an active Rewards Club program for the new season, purchases made during the grace period count as progress toward the new season.
Managing your program
Editing your program
Review your Rewards Club carefully before publishing.
Once your program is live, changes are limited during the season to help provide a consistent experience for buyers and avoid disrupting their progress.
If an approved mid-season change is necessary:
- New rewards will automatically be issued to members in the affected tier.
- Removed coupons will remain available to members who have already unlocked them.
- Modified coupons may be reissued depending on whether the original coupon has been redeemed.
Canceling your program
Once your Rewards Club is live, you can't cancel it yourself during the season.
If exceptional circumstances require a cancellation, contact Support.
If a program is canceled:
- Previously issued coupons remain valid until the season ends.
- Members stop earning progress and status.
- New members can no longer join the program.
- The canceled program remains visible to buyers.
Deleting your program
Rewards Club programs can't be deleted.
In rare circumstances where Whatnot removes a program, all associated member status, progress, and rewards are permanently removed.
