First-Time Buyer Coupons - Terms & Conditions

Whatnot may offer Coupons to certain first-time buyers for a discount on their first livestream purchase. All such First-Time Buyer Coupons (also referred to herein as “Coupons”) and the use thereof are subject to Whatnot’s Terms of Service (the “Terms”), which are incorporated by reference into these Terms & Conditions. 

The First-Time Buyer Coupon program is offered directly by Whatnot. First-Time Buyer Coupons are offered under a separate program than Seller Coupons, and these Terms & Conditions do not apply to or relate to Seller Coupons. Sellers are not deducted for the cost of First-Time Buyer Coupons. 

How to Redeem a First-Time Buyer Coupon

All New Users in (US, UK, FR, DE, AU, and CA) are eligible to receive a First-Time Buyer Coupon if you are a new Whatnot user and are notified that a Free Gift is available to you. To receive your Coupon, enter an eligible livestream and tap the Free Gift prompt, or visit the Rewards Hub and open your available gift. Once you claim your gift, your Coupon will be added to your account and available for use on your first eligible livestream purchase.

Your Coupon will expire seven (7) days after you claim and accept your gift. To view your Coupon details, enter a livestream, tap the Wallet icon, or visit the Rewards Hub. The Coupon will automatically apply to your first eligible purchase in a livestream before the expiration date and time shown in your account.

Limitations and Rules

• Coupon eligibility is determined by Whatnot in its sole discretion. Not all users will be eligible to receive a Free Gift or Coupon.

• Free Gifts and Coupons are limited-time promotional offers and are subject to availability.

• Eligibility is generally limited to new users who have joined Whatnot, have not received account credit through another promotion, and have not yet completed a purchase on Whatnot.

• Eligible users are automatically enrolled in the promotion after account signup. Users must manually claim or open their Free Gift to receive a Coupon.

• Each Coupon has a value of up to $20 USD or the equivalent amount in the user's local currency, as determined by Whatnot.

• Coupons may only be redeemed toward eligible items offered for sale in supported livestreams on the Whatnot App.

• Coupons may only be applied to one purchased item and may only be used once per eligible person.

• Coupons expire seven (7) days after the user claims and accepts the associated Free Gift. If a user completes their first purchase before claiming or redeeming the Coupon, the Free Gift and any associated Coupon may immediately expire and become unavailable.

• Coupon offers may terminate at any time, including before any stated end date, for any reason, including but not limited to promotional budget limitations, fraud prevention measures, technical considerations, or changes to the promotion. If an offer is terminated or unavailable, associated Free Gifts and Coupons may no longer be redeemable.

• The Coupon applies only to the purchase price of an eligible item and does not apply to shipping, handling, taxes, duties, fees, or other charges.

• If you are eligible for a refund in accordance with the Whatnot Terms of Service, any refund will not include the Coupon or its redemption value. You will receive no more than the amount you paid toward your purchase and will not be permitted to reuse the Coupon.

• Coupons and Free Gifts are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, or assigned.

• Coupons cannot be combined with other coupons, discounts, rebates, account credits, or promotional offers unless expressly permitted by Whatnot.

• Coupons have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and are void where prohibited by law.

• Any currency displayed on a Coupon will be in the applicable local currency presented to the user, unless otherwise indicated.

• Whatnot reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion and these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
