Use multiple accounts on Whatnot

You can have multiple buyer accounts on Whatnot. How you switch between them depends on your device:

  • iOS: Switch between accounts without logging out using the Account Switcher
  • Android or web: Log out, then log back in to switch accounts

You can only have seller access on one account at a time unless you’ve been approved for more.

How to add and switch between accounts

Note: Account Switcher is currently available in the iOS app only. On Android and web, you can still use multiple buyer accounts, but you’ll need to log out and back in to add or switch accounts.

Add another buyer account

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap the ▼ next to your username.

  3. Choose one:

    • Add existing account to log into another account

    • Create a new account to set up a new one

Switch between accounts

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap the ▼ next to your username.

  3. Select the account you want to switch to. 

Remove accounts

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap the ▼ next to your username.

  3. Tap Manage.

  4. Tap Sign Out on the account you’d like to remove.

Tip: If you sign out of your current account, you’ll automatically switch to the next account saved on your device.


Apply for a second seller account

Established sellers may be eligible for a second account to grow their brand, run multiple shows, or expand into another category.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following:

  • Lifetime sales over $100K (before fees) or more than 1,000 orders
  • Hosted at least 10 Shows in the past 30 days
  • Maintain a rating above 4.8
  • Not be on a second offense in any violation category under our What Actions We Take guidelines

If you meet these requirements, contact Support to apply for a second seller account. If you don’t meet them and try to apply for a second seller account, it won’t be approved.

Note: Verified badges and Early Payout don’t transfer between accounts. You’ll need to earn them again on any new account.


Notifications

  • You’ll only receive push notifications for your active account.
  • When you switch accounts, notifications from the previous account will be cleared. 

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Can I merge multiple accounts into one?

  • No. We don’t currently support merging accounts or transferring data.

Why don’t I see the Account Switcher in my profile?

  • It’s currently rolling out on iOS and isn’t available on Android yet. Make sure your app is up to date, and check back soon.

Does this allow someone to enter giveaways multiple times?

  • No. You must be present in the show when the giveaway happens. If you switch accounts on the same device, your previous account leaves the show and is removed from the giveaway. Multiple entries aren’t supported.
