You can have multiple buyer accounts on Whatnot. You can only have seller access on one account at a time unless you’re approved for more.

How to add and switch between accounts

Note: Account Switcher is currently available on iOS only. On Android and web, you'll need to log out and back in to switch accounts.

Add another buyer account

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap the ▼ next to your username.

  3. Choose one:

    • Add existing account to log into another account

    • Create a new account to set up a new one

If you're creating a new account, you'll need to use a different email address than the one associated with your existing account.

Switch between accounts

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap the ▼ next to your username.

  3. Select the account you want to switch to. 

Remove accounts

  1. Go to your profile.

  2. Tap the ▼ next to your username.

  3. Tap Manage.

  4. Tap Sign Out on the account you’d like to remove.

Tip: When you sign out, you'll automatically switch to the next account saved on your device.

Notifications across accounts

  • You’ll only receive push notifications for your active account.
  • Notifications from the previous account will be cleared when you switch accounts. 

Apply for a second seller account

You may be eligible for a second seller account if you want to grow your brand, run multiple shows, or sell in another category.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following:

  • Have lifetime sales over the equivalent of 100,000 USD in your local currency before fees or more than 1,000 orders 
  • Have hosted at least 10 shows in the past 30 days 
  • Maintain a seller rating above 4.8
  • Not be on a second offense in any category under our What Actions We Take  guidelines

If you meet these requirements, contact Support to apply. 

If you don't meet them, any applications for a second seller account won't be approved.

Note: Early Payout doesn't transfer between accounts. You’ll need to earn it again on any new accounts. 


Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Can I merge multiple accounts into one?

  • No. We don’t currently support merging accounts or transferring data.

Why don’t I see the Account Switcher on my profile?

  • It’s currently rolling out on iOS and isn’t available on Android or web yet. Make sure your app is up to date, and check back soon.

Does this allow someone to enter giveaways multiple times?

  • No. Multiple entries aren’t supported. You must be present in the show when the giveaway happens. If you switch accounts on the same device, your previous account leaves the show and is removed from the giveaway.
