Start with your Home feed
When you open Whatnot, you’ll land on your Home feed, where you can discover live shows across Whatnot.
If something catches your attention, open the show to watch it live or select the seller’s name to visit their profile.
You may see a few different tabs in your Home feed:
- For You: Discover shows picked for you based on what you watch, search for, and buy. Your recommendations become more personalized as you spend time on Whatnot.
- Following: Keep up with live shows from sellers you follow. This feed may be quiet at first, but it’ll fill up as you follow more sellers.
- Category feeds: Explore shows in a specific category, like Trading Cards, Sneakers, or Coins & Money.
Browse by category
If you want to look around but don’t have a particular item in mind, go to Categories in the app or Browse on web.
From there, you can browse categories and explore popular tags and topics. It’s a great place to discover something new or dive deeper into what you’re already interested in.
Search for something specific
Already know what you’re looking for? Use Search to find:
- A specific item or keyword, like “Charizard” or “Vintage Levi’s”
- A category or brand
- A seller or show by name
Try starting with a broad search, then narrow it down once you see what’s available.
Save shows, listings, and searches
Found something you want to come back to? Bookmark a show, listing, or search so you can easily find it again.

Follow sellers you like
If you enjoy a seller’s shows, follow them to see their upcoming and live shows in your Following feed. Depending on your notification settings, you can also get notified when they go live.

Ready to buy?
Once you’ve found a show or item you’re interested in, you’re ready to start shopping.
