On this page: 

Buyers: Get help with an order

If something’s wrong with your order, contact us through the app or website to get help with the purchase.

In the Whatnot app:

  1. Tap Activity at the bottom of the screen
  2. Go to Purchases
  3. Tap the order you need help with
  4. Choose Get help with this purchase
  5. Select the option that best matches your issue 

On whatnot.com:

  1. Sign in to whatnot.com
  2. Click the Activity icon in the top right
  3. Click the Purchases tab
  4. Find and click the order you need help with
  5. Scroll down and select Get help with this purchase
  6. Select the option that best matches your issue 

When filling out the contact form:

  • Include a note about what’s wrong or different from what you expected
  • If there's damage, add clear photos of the item (front, back, sides)
  • If possible, add photos of the packaging and shipping label 

Requesting a refund?

Be sure to contact within the refund window for your item’s category:

  • Cards, Sneakers, Coins, Streetwear: 7 days from delivery or 30 days from purchase (whichever comes first)
  • Everything else: 14 days from delivery or 30 days from purchase (whichever comes first)

Sellers: Get quick help or support with an order

You can get help in two ways: 

Option 1: Chat with Whatbot 

Whatbot is our 24/7 messaging assistant on whatnot.com. It can answer quick questions or connect you to the support team if needed. 

To start a chat: 

  1. Sign in to whatnot.com
  2. Click your account icon in the top right
  3. From the Selling tab, open your Seller Hub
  4. Click Support Chat from the left menu

Note: Whatbot is a support tool, not a live agent. It can’t make decisions or commitments on behalf of Whatnot.

Option 2: Get help with an order 

Use this option if you're having trouble with a specific order. In some cases, this flow may start a Whatbot chat to help guide you. If you need more help, you can create a ticket from the chat.

  1. Open the Whatnot app
  2. Tap Seller Hub at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right
  4. Select Orders
  5. Choose the order you need help with
  6. Tap Get help with this order
  7. Select the option that best matches your issue 

Get help with your account or other issues

For anything else, contact us from the app:

  1. Open the Whatnot app
  2. Tap the Account icon at the bottom of the screen
  3. Scroll down and tap Contact Us
  4. Select the option that best matches your issue 

After you contact us

Once you create a ticket: 

  • A team member will reach out to help, usually within 48 hours
  • You’ll get a confirmation email with your ticket number
  • Search your inbox for Whatnot Support if you don't see the email
