You can change your email on Whatnot anytime in your account settings.
Your email is how you log in and receive important updates about your account, purchases, and sales.
The email linked to your Whatnot account depends on how you signed up:
Signed up with email: You’re using the email you entered when you created your account.
Signed up with Apple, Google, or Facebook: You’re using the email linked to that third-party account.
Note: Your current email won't show in settings, but you can still change it using the steps below.
Before you update your email address
You’ll need your current password to confirm the change in email. If you don’t remember it, reset your password first.
Each email can only be linked to one Whatnot account, so use an email that isn’t connected to another account.
How to update your email address
Change your email in the app:
- Tap Account at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and select Change Email.
- Enter your current password and your new email.
- Tap Change Email to save your update.
Change your email on web:
- Go to whatnot.com and click your account icon in the top right.
- Select Account Settings, then open the Account page.
- Choose Change Email.
- Enter your current password and your new email.
- Click Change Email to save your update.
