The New Seller Rising, Power, and Super Seller Bonuses

If you’re a new seller on Whatnot, you may be invited to join one of our newest bonus challenges — the Rising, Power, or Super Seller Bonus (for simplicity, we’ll call it the “Super Seller Bonus” for the rest of this article). These limited-time challenges reward you with cash bonuses for continuing to go live and grow your sales early in your Whatnot selling journey.

Note: Not all sellers will see this bonus right away. Eligibility and reward amounts vary by country and by selling activity.

How It Works

Once you’ve made your first sale or completed your Sales Match Bonus, you may be invited to participate in the Super Seller Bonus Challenge.

Here’s how it works:

1. Select your challenge in-app – you’ll see an invitation after your first sale or at the end of your Sales Match Bonus period.  

   

2. Choose your goal 
   1. You’ll see three 7-day sales goals, each with its own cash bonus. Once you select your goal, it’s locked in — you can’t change it later. 
   2. You'll only have 7 days to complete the challenge — the clock starts when the challenge is offered to you in the app (or via email), so it's important to select a challenge right away. You can select a challenge any time during the 7-day window, but the end-time to complete the requirements won't change. Reward amounts and eligibility may vary by country.
3. Go live and sell – To qualify for your bonus, you must complete all of the following within 7 days of challenge eligibility:
   1. Go live for at least 3 total hours
   2. Reach your selected sales goal
   3. Sell to at least 5 unique buyers
   4. Ship all orders from those sales
4. Get rewarded –  When all requirements are met, your cash bonus will be paid to your seller balance. 

You’ll receive an email and push notification when your payout is on its way.

How to Track Your Progress

You can monitor your progress directly in the app:

• Tap the Super Seller Bonus banner on your Seller Hub or Home Feed
• You’ll see your current sales amount, livestream hours, and buyer count in one place

Examples Scenarios

Here are a few examples of how the bonus works. In these examples the sales goals and bonus amounts are as follows:

• Rising Seller: Make $250 in sales, earn a $50 bonus
• Power Seller: Make $750 in sales, earn a $150 bonus
• Super Seller: Make $2,500 in sales, earn a $500 bonus

Example scenarios:

• Example 1: You select $750 goal.
  You go live for 3 hours, sell to 5 buyers, and reach $900 in sales.
  ✅ You’ll earn a $150 bonus once all your orders are shipped.
• Example 2: You select the $750 goal but only reach $300 in sales.
  ❌ You won’t earn the $50 bonus for hitting $250 — you’re only eligible for the reward tied to your selected goal.
• Example 3: You reach your goal but forget to ship one of your packages.
  ❌ You won’t receive your payout until all orders are shipped.

Getting Paid

• Bonuses are paid in cash to your seller balance 
• You’ll get an email and push notification when your payout is issued.
• Bonuses appear in your ledger as “Super Seller Bonus” “Rising Seller Bonus” or “Power Seller Bonus”
• Payouts typically arrive within 14 days after all orders are shipped

Eligibility

To qualify, you must:

• Have made at least one sale on Whatnot.
• Receive an in-app invitation for the challenge (not all sellers will see it).
• Complete all challenge requirements within 7 days of accepting the challenge.

Exclusions

The following will not be counted towards bonus requirements:

1. Sales made in private livestreams
2. Local pickup orders
3. Orders completed outside of live shows (aka “Marketplace” orders)
4. Giveaways

FAQs

Can I participate in both the Sales Match Bonus and Super Seller Bonus?

Yes, but not at the same time. If you’re selected for the bonus, you’ll become eligible for the Super Seller Bonus after your Sales Match Bonus period ends or after your first sale, whichever comes later.

When will I get paid?

Payments typically arrive in your seller balance within about 14 days after all orders are shipped.

Why don’t I see this bonus in my app?

Not all sellers are eligible right now. This program is rolling out gradually and may not be visible to every seller or in every country.

Terms & Conditions

The Super / Rising / Power Seller Bonus for new sellers promotion (the “Offer”) is designed to give sellers who are new to the Whatnot community a way to be rewarded and encouraged as they make their first sales on Whatnot. The Offer is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Sales Eligibility. In order for your sales to qualify for the Offer, they must be made during livestreams in which you have completed an auction or BIN sale. Please track sales progress on the incentive banner in the mobile app (each sale that meets the criteria in this paragraph, an “Eligible Sale”). Please note, local pick-up orders, orders made in private livestreams and giveaways are not eligible for this incentive.

Offer. For eligible sellers, Whatnot will provide $/£/€1.00 in cash for each eligible $/£/€1.00 earned (exclusive of taxes and fees), up to the amount stated in-app, beginning as the offer is surfaced to the seller (via email, push notification, or in app) granted and ending exactly after the stated timeline in-app. 

Limitations. Rewards will be credited to the accounts of Eligible New Sellers within 14 days following the end of the bonus period, provided shipment of the items corresponding to the respective Eligible Sales. This timeline may be delayed in Whatnot’s sole discretion, including if, for example, Whatnot determines that there is indicia of fraud or a violation of these Terms & Conditions or Whatnot’s Terms of Service. The reward, when combined with the value received from all other offers in the current calendar year, may not exceed $/£/€1,500 per household per year. In the event that Whatnot determines in its sole discretion that there may have been fraudulent activity, a violation of these Terms and Conditions, or a violation of the Whatnot Terms of Service in connection with the offer or the Eligible New User account, Whatnot reserves the right to either decline to grant the rewards, or to rescind the applicable rewards. Limit one Offer per qualified Eligible New User, accounts related to users who have already received this offer are not eligible. Whatnot cannot provide information about someone else’s account. Whatnot reserves the right to decline to grant or rescind a reward if Whatnot determines in its sole discretion that there are images or speech in connection with the referrer's live streams that are inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or violate the Whatnot Community Guidelines or Terms of Service; or infringes on Whatnot's intellectual property rights, constitutes a domain name, creates the potential for confusion as to whether the page or content in question is Whatnot’s, or is otherwise improper. Whatnot reserves the right to change the offer terms or terminate the offer at any time without notice. The offer is not transferable, saleable, or valid in conjunction with certain other offers. The offer is only available for personal use, and may not be used for commercial purposes.

Taxes. All taxes related to this offer are the customer’s sole responsibility.
