If your order is headed to the wrong address, don’t worry—you may be able to update it, or get help from Whatnot Support or the carrier.

Sellers aren’t able to change shipping addresses after a purchase, but there are a few ways you can fix the issue yourself or with support.

Update your order's shipping address (if eligible)

You can only update your order's address in Whatnot if:

  • You’re located in the U.S.

  • The seller hasn’t created a shipping label yet (order status is still Preparing Package)

  • The order is eligible for updates

When you update your order’s address, Whatnot will automatically use the new one once the seller creates the shipping label.

If your order is bundled, everything in that bundle will ship to the new address too. 

Change your order’s address on app
  1. Tap Activity.
  2. From the Purchases tab, tap your order to open it. 
  3. Under the order’s status, tap Shipping to (only appears if the address is eligible for changes).
  4. Select a saved address or add a new one.
  5. Tap Update.
Change your order’s address on web
  1. From whatnot.com, click the Activity icon in the top right.
  2. From the Purchases tab, click your order to open it. 
  3. Under Shipment Details, click Edit (only appears if the address is eligible for changes).
  4. Edit the current address, choose another saved one, or add a new address.
  5. Save your changes.

If you can’t update your address in Whatnot

  • Order not shipped yet: Contact Support right away and include your correct address. If possible, we'll help the seller update the label.
  • Order already shipped: Contact the carrier to request a reroute to your new address.

  • If rerouting is not possible: The package may be returned to the seller. Contact our Support team so we can help coordinate reshipment. 

Tip: It can help to direct message (DM) the seller too, so they know there’s an issue. They can’t change the shipment address for you, but staying in touch keeps everyone informed while we work to resolve it.
