Tag people in livestream chat

Anyone can tag another Whatnot user in a live show chat. 

There are limits on how often users can tag you within a certain period of time. There are also limits on how many notifications you'll receive if you're tagged multiple times during the same show.

Tag another person in chat

Anyone can tag another Whatnot user in a show's chat.

When you tag someone, they'll receive a notification based on their notification settings, and everyone in chat will see the tagged message.

To tag someone:

1. Type @ followed by their username (for example, @whatnotuser).
2. As you type a username, a list of matching usernames will appear and update automatically.
3. Send your message.

View chats where you were tagged

1. Open the Whatnot app.
2. Tap the Notifications bell icon.

If someone tags you in a show's chat, you'll receive a notification based on your notification settings. You can update your notification settings at any time.
