If you're purchasing at a U.S military shipping address (APO, FPO, or DPO), follow USPS formatting rules exactly.
This helps sellers generate shipping labels and prevents checkout issues, delays, or canceled shipments.

Need to check or update your address? How to add or update your shipping address.
Format your military address correctly
When adding or updating a U.S. military address as your shipping address, make sure it includes the correct information and formatting.
1. Use English characters only
Replace any non-English characters with the closest English equivalent. Special characters may prevent the address from being recognized.
2. Enter your full name
Include both a first and last name. Some carriers require both to process shipments.
3. Use the correct city, state, and country
Your address must include:
- City: APO, FPO, or DPO
- State: AP, AE, or AA
- Country: United States
- ZIP Code: Your assigned military ZIP code
- Unit, box, or PSC numbers (and make sure they’re entered on the correct address line)
Example:
4. Double-check before placing your order
Confirm your address is saved correctly before placing your order.
Incorrect formatting may prevent checkout or result in shipping delays or cancellations
Tip: Review USPS military address guidelines to confirm your address will be accepted by their system.
For sellers shipping to APO/FPO/DPO addresses
U.S. military addresses are treated as domestic USPS shipments but must meet strict formatting requirements.
Before generating a label, confirm:
The city is APO, FPO, or DPO
The state is AP, AE, or AA
The country is United States
All unit, PSC, or box numbers are included
Some carriers require both the sender and recipient to have a first and last name (each with more than one character). If a name field contains only one word, you may not be able to generate a shipping label.
If the buyer’s address is formatted incorrectly, you may not be able to generate a label or complete the shipment.
