Weekly Bundling Feature

Weekly bundling is a new feature live for all sellers in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, and the UK. Weekly Bundling allows buyers to save on shipping costs by grouping their purchases from a seller throughout the week into a single package. If buyers opt in and purchase from sellers with Weekly Bundling enabled, sellers will wait to ship out orders until after the bundle closes Sunday night. 

How does it work?

• Buyers can opt into weekly bundling by going to Settings → Payments & Shipping or their Wallet within a livestream and toggling Weekly Bundling to ON
• If interested in the feature, buyers should opt-in ahead of making purchases to ensure the purchases are included in the weekly bundle
• If a seller has weekly bundling available, all orders from that seller in a given week will be bundled together in a single shipment
• The seller will ship the order within 2 days of the bundle closing on Sunday evening
• While orders will bundle into a single shipment, buyers may need to pay the difference in shipping if the package moves weight class (e.g., order moves shipment weight band from 500g -> 1kg). Therefore, shipping may be paid more than one time.

Where is this live?

Right now weekly bundling is only live for all sellers based in Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, and the UK. Weekly bundling is live for buyers globally except in France and Belgium.

FAQs

Why was I charged for shipping after the first purchase? 

WB shipping charges work the same as traditional bundling on Whatnot. Therefore, you may experience shipping charges after your purchase if:

• The package moved up a weight band (like from 1lb to 2lbs)
• The seller's bundle limit was reached (too many things in one box) and a second bundle started
• It was cheaper to start a new bundle than to move up a weight bracket

Why did I get two packages?

Same reasons as above, plus:

• The seller printed your label mid-week (which closes the bundle and starts a new one)
• You may have enabled Weekly Bundling after your first order of the week, which starts the a new bundle

Why hasn't my order shipped?

• If your order was weekly bundled, orders ship within 2 days of Sunday's bundle close date (not 2 days from order date)

Why didn't my orders with this seller bundle?

• That seller may not have enabled Weekly Bundling, or they might have changed their shipping settings to only allow 1 order per shipment (like in the case of large items)

Can I add an order to my bundle that I placed before I enabled the setting?

• Unfortunately no. Only orders placed after both sides turned on Weekly Bundling will bundle.

Can a seller ship out my Weekly Bundle early?

• Yes. You can message the seller to request it, in which case the seller (if they can) can send a bundle early by simply generating the label for the shipment. Your next order with that seller will incur a full shipping charge as a result (since it creates new bundle/label).
