Free Pickup is the fastest and cheapest way to buy on Whatnot!
With Free Pickup, you won’t need to pay for shipping when you buy on Whatnot, which is great for large and expensive-to-ship items. Plus, no need to wait around for something to be shipped; you can even pick it up from the seller same-day.
Nine Things to Know About Free Pickup
- We recommend arranging pickup at a brick-and-mortar store or public space. See this article for more best practices on arranging pickup.
- Always send money through Whatnot. Items sold in person through cash or person-to-person transactions aren’t eligible for Whatnot purchase protection.
- Coordinate pickup with the seller using DMs on Whatnot. In case there is an issue with your purchase, having a record of the conversation can help us resolve the issue. We cannot resolve disputes where the record exists off-platform. Please "opt-in" to DMs if you plan on using Free Pickup by following the steps in the article above.

Select Free Pickup as the Delivery Method by tapping the Wallet button when you first enter the seller’s show on iOS and Android.
- Do this before bidding on any auctions to ensure that pickup is the delivery method when you win.
- Pickup is supported for purchases made on iOS and Android. Web support is coming soon.
- You will pay no shipping cost when you make a Free Pickup purchase.
- Pickup is supported for live auctions and Buy It Now purchases made during shows. Support for marketplace orders is coming soon.

Pick up your order within 7 days.
- Within 7 days for orders that have not yet been picked up, you can request a cancellation, acceptance of which is at the seller’s discretion per Whatnot’s normal cancellation policy.
- If the seller doesn't confirm pickup, it will be automatically confirmed after 7 days.
- Orders that have not been picked up within 7 days will be marked as complete. You can go through the Get Help flow for support with these orders.

Selecting Free Pickup
Free Pickup is available on iOS and Android. Web support is coming soon.
You can select Free Pickup in two ways:

For auctions: During the show, tap on the Wallet icon and select Free Pickup under Delivery Method. This will set pickup as your default delivery method for that seller.
- You must select pickup from the wallet before winning an auction. Only purchases made after the this setting is updated will use Free Pickup by default
- For Buy it Now: When making a Buy it Now purchase in a show, select Free Pickup under Delivery Method at checkout.
Pickup settings are saved for future streams with that seller. So when you select pickup for a seller, pickup will be set as the default delivery method for that seller in future shows.
Picking Up Your Order
When you place a Free Pickup order, you will receive pickup instructions in an email along with a unique pickup order code. On the Order Details Page, you can also find pickup instructions, the pickup code, and a QR code that the seller can scan to confirm the pickup.
When you pick up your order, simply provide the unique pickup order code, or let the seller scan your QR code to confirm the pickup.
Cancellations and Refunds
