Practice going live with Rehearsal Mode

Rehearsal Mode is a no-pressure way to get familiar with live selling on Whatnot. It lets you run a simulated show with practice bids and no real audience, helping you build confidence before going live. 

How Rehearsal Mode works

In Rehearsal Mode, you can: 

• Follow a guided tour

• Practice live selling with pre-loaded demo products 

• Try features like pinning items and running auctions with test buyers (not real accounts)

• Feel more ready before your real shows

Want to test with friends or team members? Schedule a private show instead. Private shows can only be accessed through a shared link.

Access Rehearsal Mode

Most sellers can access Rehearsal Mode from Seller Hub on the Whatnot mobile app. 

If you’re a new seller, you may not see Seller Hub or Rehearsal Mode until after your first live show. Follow the live show checklist to go live and start selling. Once your first show ends, you’ll have full access to these seller tools.

To open Rehearsal Mode: 

1. Open the Whatnot app.

2. Tap Seller Hub at the bottom of the screen.

3. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right.

4. Scroll down to Settings.

5. Tap Rehearsal Mode.

Return to Rehearsal Mode anytime to practice as often as you need.
