Buyers: Get help with a purchase
All purchases are covered by Whatnot's Buyer Protection Policy.
If there’s a problem with your order, like something missing, damaged, or not as described, request support from your order details page.
Get help in the app:
- From the Whatnot app, tap Activity.
- Go to Purchases.
- Tap the order.
- Tap Get help with this purchase.
- Choose the option that best matches your issue.
Get help on whatnot.com:
- From whatnot.com, click the activity icon in the top right.
- Click the Purchases tab.
- Click the order.
- Scroll down and select Get help with this purchase.
- Choose the option that best matches your issue.
Tip: Include photos or screenshots if you can. Details up front can help resolve things faster.
After you submit a request
We’ll review your request as quickly as possible.
In some cases, the seller may respond directly if they have access to Seller Provided Support.
If more help is needed, Whatnot Support may step in.
You’ll get updates in the app when working directly with the seller, or by email if Whatnot is helping.
Refunds and Buyer Protection timelines
To request a refund, follow the same “Get help with this purchase” steps above.
To stay eligible under Buyer Protection, submit your request by the earlier of:
30 days from purchase, or
14 days from delivery
Some categories have shorter timelines:
Coins & Money, Sports Cards, Sneakers & Streetwear, Trading Card Games, Luxury Goods: 7 days from delivery or 30 days from purchase (whichever comes first)
Plants: 2 days from delivery or 30 days from purchase (whichever comes first)

Sellers: Get help with an order
If you need help with a specific sale, start from the order details page.
Sometimes our virtual support assistant, Whatbot, will appear first to guide you. Create a support ticket from the chat to get help directly from a team member.
Get help with a sale:
- From the Whatnot app, tap Seller Hub.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top right.
- Select Orders.
- Choose the order.
- Tap Get help with this order.
- Select the option that best matches your issue.
Tip: Need a quick answer? Whatbot is available 24/7 to help with common questions or connect you with our team. To start a chat, visit whatnot.com → open Seller Hub → click Support Chat.
Get help with your account or another issue
If your question isn’t about an order:
- From the Whatnot app, tap the Account.
- Scroll down and tap Contact Us.
- Select the option that best matches your issue.
After you contact us
Once you create a support ticket:
- You’ll get a confirmation email with your ticket number.
- A team member will reply to you by email, usually within 48 hours.
- You can reply to your support email anytime to keep the conversation going.
- If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder or search your inbox for "Whatnot Support."
