About Average Ship Time

Average Ship Time is the average number of business days between when an order is placed and when it receives its first valid shipment confirmation.

  • Weekends and public holidays aren’t included.

  • It’s calculated using your most recent 30 days of orders.

  • For accepted offers, timing starts when the offer is accepted.

  • Creating a shipping label does not count. The order must receive a valid shipment confirmation.

There are multiple ways to confirm shipment, including carrier scans and the Whatnot in-app scanner

  • Drop off packages promptly after creating a label.

  • Confirm shipment at the time of carrier hand-off.

  • Use the Whatnot in-app scanner at drop-off for the fastest update.

Even small updates now can help improve your 30-day rolling average.
