Update your phone number

You can update your phone number on Whatnot. How you do it depends on your account:

• Sellers can update their phone number in account settings
• Buyers need to contact support to request a change

We’re working on making this available in account settings for everyone. 

Change your phone number in settings (sellers)

You can update your phone number directly in your account settings.

1. From the app or whatnot.com, tap or click your Account icon 
2. (Web only) Go to Account Settings > Account page
3. Select Change Phone (app) or Change Phone Number (web)
4. Enter your new number
5. Follow the steps to verify your account

Contact support to update your phone number (buyers)

If you’re a buyer, you’ll need to contact support to update your phone number.

1. Open the Whatnot app 
2. Tap Account
3. Scroll down and tap Contact Us
4. Select Account > Update Account Information > Update Phone Number
5. Describe your request and submit

You may be asked to verify your account details before our team updates your phone number.
