Eligible Coins & Money sales on Whatnot receive a reduced commission rate.
Products properly listed under the following categories qualify for a 4% commission fee:
- Coins & Bullion
- Paper Money & Currency
Standard payment processing fees and any applicable taxes on fees still apply. Fee structures may vary depending on your market. For current seller fee rates by region, check Whatnot seller fees.
How it works
To receive the reduced commission rate, make sure your items are categorized correctly when creating your listing. Eligible sales will automatically receive the reduced commission rate.
Sellers continue to receive payouts through their normal payment process.
This reduced commission only applies to eligible Coins & Money products and doesn’t extend to other categories. If we find evidence of misuse or miscategorization of unrelated products, we may take corrective action on your account.
