How It Works
Reduced commission will apply to all products properly listed under the Coins & Bullion and Paper Money & Currency categories. Please make sure your products are properly categorized when creating the listing for the reduced commission rate to take effect.
Please note that this reduced commissions is for Coins & Money products only and does not extend out to any additional categories. If we find any evidence that you are abusing this commission by misrepresenting non-related products, we reserve the right to take corrective action against your account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a reduced commission available for other categories on Whatnot?
This specific reduced commission only applies to the Coins & Money category. Whatnot does offer special promotions from time to time in other categories.
How do I enroll in this program?
Enrollment is not necessary! Just make sure to properly list your product under the Coins & Bullion or Paper Money & Currency categories and any sales will automatically be charged a 4% commission rate. Whatnot sellers will receive payment as they normally would with any completed order.
Are international sellers eligible?
Yes, coin sellers in all markets where Whatnot has an active seller presence are eligible to participate. Please note that the reduced commission rate is VAT exclusive where applicable. In effect, the promotional commission rate is:
- 4% for VAT registered Sellers
- 4% + VAT for non-VAT registered Sellers
