What is the promo?

For a limited time, we’re lowering the fixed part of the payment processing fee for UK-based sellers on sales with a subtotal of £10 or less (before shipping). The lower fee applies automatically to every eligible sale, so there's nothing you need to do.

Who is eligible?

This promo is available to UK-based sellers.

Which sales qualify?

Eligible sales with a subtotal of £10 or less (before shipping) qualify. Sales with a subtotal above £10 are charged the standard payment processing fee.

How much is the fee reduced?

On qualifying sales, the fixed part of the payment processing fee drops from £0.25 to £0.15. The variable portion of the payment processing fee (2.42% of total order value including shipping) is unchanged. If you’re not VAT-registered with Whatnot, 20% VAT applies to your fees, so your fixed payment processing fee effectively goes from £0.30 to £0.18.

Do I need to do anything to get the lower fee?

No. The lower fee is applied automatically to every eligible sale during the promo period.

Does this apply to Buy It Now sales?

Yes. Buy It Now sales are included in this promo.

I sold several items that were shipped together. How is the £10 applied across them?

As always, fees are applied at checkout, so it depends how they were bought. If items are sold separately and later bundled into one order or shipment, fees are calculated separately per sale. Items sold together as a single bundle count as one sale, so they need a combined subtotal of £10 or less for the reduced fee to apply.

Does this change my commission?

No. This promo applies only to the payment processing fee. Your seller commission is unchanged.

Why are you running this?

On lower-cost sales, the fixed payment processing fee takes a large share, so for a limited time we’re offering lower fees on sales with a subtotal of £10 or less to help UK sellers grow.
