You must be 18 years or older to have an account on Whatnot. However, teens between the ages of 13-17 are allowed to buy and sell under the following requirements:
- Parental account ownership and information: Accounts must be owned and registered by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 years or older. Bank details, payment processing details, and other financial information must be in the parent or legal guardian’s name. To provide this information, please contact Whatnot Support.
- Parental permission and supervision: The parent or legal guardian must provide permission and supervision for teen use of their account. Account owners are responsible for all activity conducted on their accounts.
Teen participation in other shows:
Teens 13-17 who have approval to use their parent or legal guardian’s Whatnot account and want to collaborate with other sellers or be featured in other shows must have parental permission to participate on another seller’s show.
