This article discusses how to get your item purchases Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) graded.
PSA grading allows buyers to purchase grading for certain items they purchase from your livestream. With PSA grading, buyers can get their items evaluated and authenticated to maximize the value of their purchased items.
The price of the PSA grading will depend on the item’s declared value (Grading Service Level). You will also have to pay a $19 shipping fee for grading cards and a $22 shipping fee for grading Funko Pop! items.
Note: At this time, integrated grading is only offered for sellers and buyers in the US.

PSA Grading Costs
The price of the PSA grading will depend on the item's declared value (Grading Service Level). You will also have to pay a $19 shipping fee.
Eligible PSA Grading Items
Cards
The following card types qualify for PSA grading:
- Regular or Small-Sized Cards (2-11/16" x 3-13/16" and under)
- Modern Memorabilia Cards (Thick/Patch)
- Tallboy Cards (3-1/2" x 5-1/8")
Funko
The only Funko Pop! type that qualifies for PSA grading is the single, non-autographed 4” Pop! item.
Note that grading is not available for all sellers or listings.
Non-Eligible PSA Grading Items
At this time, for Cards and Funko, we currently do not support unopened pack grading, autograph grading or authentication, booklets, or crossover submissions. If received, these submissions will be returned unprocessed and delays and/or penalties may be incurred."

These services do not include autograph grading or authentication.
The turnaround time is once PSA is in possession of the item. This does not include the time it takes to ship to PSA.
PSA Grading Shipping Costs
Cards
If you purchase PSA Grading on several cards during a livestream, you may only have to pay the $19 shipping fee on the first item, with free shipping on any additional grading purchases. To qualify for this bundled shipping cost, your grading purchases must:
- Occur during the same livestream.
- Have the same grading service level.
- For example: You purchase three items with PSA Grading. For the first two items, you chose the Value grading service level. For the third item, you chose the Regular grading service level. The first two items will qualify for the bundled shipping costs, but not the third.
Note: The PSA Grading shipping bundled costs do not apply to purchases made to a seller’s profile shop (outside of a livestream).
Funko
If you purchase PSA Grading on several items during a livestream, you may only have to pay the $22 shipping fee on the first item, with free shipping on any additional grading purchases.
Purchasing PSA Grading
You can purchase PSA grading on qualified items either during the livestream or via your orders page.
Once you submit your grading request, the seller will confirm, review, and send the item(s) you request to be graded directly to PSA. The seller will ship any remaining items that don’t require grading directly to you.
You will receive email updates from Whatnot throughout the grading process, and once the item(s) are graded, they will be shipped to you. You can also track the status of your item via the Purchases page.
Note: You can purchase PSA grading up until the seller has packaged and shipped out your items.
Purchasing PSA Grading During a Livestream
- In any livestream, purchase an item with PSA Grading Available attached to the item listing.

Tap Add Grading in the Grading Available pop-up window. Or open the seller’s store and go to the Purchased tab.

Tap Purchase Grading under the purchased item you want graded.
- Provide the name of the item you want graded. Be as specific as possible to help the seller identify which items to ship out to PSA. Click or tap Add item to add more than one purchased card to the list.

Choose your Grading Service. If you have multiple items you want graded, choose the option that matches the highest-valued item in your order. Options include:
- Value: Card must have a declared value of $499 or less.
- Economy: Card must have a declared value of $499 or less.
- Regular: Card must have a declared value of $1,499 or less.
- Express: Card must have a declared value of $2,499 or less.
- Funko: Pop! Item must have a declared value of $4,999 or less.
- Tap Confirm and Pay.
Note: The seller will confirm the item(s) you request to be graded, and will reach out to you for clarification if needed.
Purchasing PSA Grading via the Purchases Page
You can purchase PSA Grading on any qualifying purchase up until the seller packages and ships your items.
- Open the Whatnot app on your mobile device.

Tap the profile icon at the far right of the bottom menu bar.

Tap the Menu two-line icon in the top right-hand corner.

Tap Purchases.

Tap Purchase Grading under your qualifying purchases.

Provide the name(s) of the item(s) you want graded. Be as specific as possible to help the seller identify which items to ship out to PSA. Click or tap Add item to add more than one purchased item to the list.
