Here are the key rules for each auction on Whatnot:
-
You bid, you buy: It's important for the integrity of an auction -- if you bid on something you should be prepared to buy it. If you end up filing a chargeback, or cancel the purchase you may be banned
-
Clear errors or glitches: If there's been a clear error by a buyer or seller (e.g., buyer bidding $1,050 instead of $50), Whatnot may cancel the original auction, and the item can be re-auctioned.
-
No bidding up prices: You can only bid if you want an item. Any evidence of bidding up prices will result in a permanent ban.
