Whatnot Drops allow you to purchase scarce, big-ticket items (e.g. grail Funkos, new Sneakers, etc.) at incredible discounts.

About Whatnot Drops
- You can enter to win a Drop using the iOS or Android mobile app.
- Drops are available for a limited time. A countdown clock is displayed for each Drop to show how much time is left to enter.
- You can have up to 101 entries per user per Drop. Learn more
- You can enter as many active Drops as you wish.
- Each Drop page will provide
- the item offered in the Drop.
- brief description of the item.
- the price of the item if you win the Drop.
- Payment is as follows
- iOS devices: If you’re on the latest version of iOS, automatic payment is enabled. This means that by entering the drop, you are agreeing to pay the retail price of the item if you are selected as a winner. If you win the drop, your card will be automatically charged immediately after the drop closes.
- Android devices: Automatic payment is not yet enabled on Android devices. Therefore, once the drop closes you will need to go into the app and check to see if you won. If you did win, you will have 7 days to confirm your purchase. After the 7 days pass, you will no longer be able to access that drop.
Whatnot Drop Qualifications
To qualify to enter and win a Drop, you must
- have a Whatnot account.
- be a legal resident of the United States.
- be 18+ years of age.
- have a verified phone number.
- have a street address saved in your Whatnot account.
- have a credit card saved in your Whatnot account.
Drop qualifications may also vary depending on the Drops available. Make sure to review the Drop page to find out if there are any qualification restrictions for that Drop.

Entering to Win a Drop
- Open the Whatnot app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Marketplace shop icon from the bottom menu bar.
- Select the Drops tab at top left.
- Select the Drop you want to join.
- Tap Join Drop.
- Verify your phone number, payment info, and shipping address (if you haven’t already).
- Tap Join Drop to confirm your entry.
Getting Additional Entries in a Drop
You can get up to 101 entries per user per Drop. You can receive entries by:
- Entering to win the Drop (one entry).
- Sharing the Drop on socials
- Instagram, Twitter, iMessage, and Facebook (max of one entry per platform).
- Sharing your unique code with friends
- Share your code as much as you’d like, entries will be capped once you hit 101. You will receive an entry per person who uses your referral code. They will also receive an additional entry for using your code.
- Entering another user’s referral code on the Drop page in the Enter referral code field (limit one).
To share your Drop referral code:
- Open the Whatnot app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Marketplace shop icon from the bottom menu bar.
- Select the Drops tab at top left.
- Select the Drop you want to share.
- Tap Share on the Drop page and choose how you want to share this Drop.
Note: To get an additional entry for sharing your referral link, the other user must use your referral code when they enter to win that Drop.
Winning and Confirming a Drop Purchase
Once the timeline for the Drop has passed, all users who entered to win the Drop will receive an email and mobile push notification informing them to check the app to see if they won.
If you win a Drop, you’ll see a “Lucky You!” yellow screen. If you didn’t win that Drop, you’ll see a “Better Luck Next Time!” black screen.
If you entered and won the drop on iOS, payment will be automatic, and your item will be shipped to your address on file.
If you entered and won the drop on Android, you’ll need to confirm your purchase and receive your Drop:
- Open the Whatnot app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Marketplace shop icon from the bottom menu bar.
- Select the Drops tab at top left.
- Select the desired Drop to see if you’ve won the opportunity to purchase the item.
- If you won a Drop, tap Confirm Purchase.
- Update your payment info and street address as needed, then tap Submit.
Once your payment has been processed, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your purchase. You can track the status of your order from the Orders page.
