Buyer shipping explained
The first time you buy something in a specific stream, Whatnot’s algorithm will select the cheapest package format that will fit your item. You will see live the shipping fee which you will be charged for the selected package format.
As you continue to purchase more items in the same stream, our algorithm will try to bundle your orders together to minimize your shipping cost. That means we are going to try to safely fit as many items as possible within the package you already paid for. If the weight of the bundled items exceeds the max size of the package, we will move you to a bigger package. You will then see in real time and only have to pay for the incremental shipping fee to cover the difference between the cost of the two package formats.
The shipping prices presented when you buy an item include all costs and taxes so you will not incur any additional shipping charges beyond that. Additionally, we have a buyer protection in place for all shipments - learn more here.
