Labor Day 5% Commission Promo

What is the promo? 

This Labor Day, we’re reducing all commission fees to 5% on all live, marketplace, and async auction sales within the promotional period for all US sellers. 

How long does this promo run?
The promotion period is localized to your timezone and will run from 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM on Monday, September 2nd, 2024.

Will transaction fees be discounted too? 

This promotion only applied to commission, it does not apply to payment processing fees. Transaction fees will remain the same (2.9% + 30 cents).

What sales are eligible for the promotion?

The promotion applies to all live, marketplace, async auction sales within the promotional period. When you schedule or start your show does not impact if this promotion will apply to a sale — the only thing that matters is when each individual listing’s purchase is processed.

If a customer submits an ‘Offer’ on a listing prior to the start of the promotion and you accept the offer within the promotion period, the promotion will not be valid. This promotion only applies to ‘Offers’ that are both submitted by the customer and accepted by the seller within the promotion period.

Is this promotion only available in the US?

Yes, this event is in celebration of the US holiday, Labor Day, and will only be available to sellers within the US. 

How do I apply for my show to be featured in this campaign?

If you’re planning a fun show during the promotion period or one that heavily features a deal for your buyers, you can apply to be featured in our deals campaign here. If your show is selected to be featured in this campaign, it will be featured at the top of the category page that you’re selling in.

How to apply:

1. Schedule a show during the promo period that is centered around an amazing deal that your buyers won’t want to miss.
2. Submit an application to be featured by September 1st. Be sure to include a link to your scheduled show(s). 

If your show is chosen, it will be visible on your category page on September 2nd. Regardless of your show being chosen or not, take advantage of the reduced 5% commission starting at 12:00 AM on September 2nd. 

I applied to have my show featured for this event and haven’t heard back yet. Did my show get accepted?

Unfortunately, we cannot feature all shows that apply to participate in this campaign. If your show is chosen to be featured, it will be visible on your category page the morning of September 2nd.  If you do not see your show, unfortunately your application to be featured was not selected.
