For 2024, Whatnot is partnering with Stripe to provide a 1099-K to all eligible U.S. sellers who have a connected Stripe account associated with their Whatnot profile.
If you have a connected Stripe account associated with your Whatnot profile, you’ll receive an email from Stripe in the next few months with instructions on how to confirm your tax information and delivery preference to ensure your 1099-K is sent to the right place.
If you don’t have a connected Stripe account, i.e., you have only ever cashed out via PayPal, follow the instructions here to create a connected Stripe account.
Lots more information and FAQs on the 2024 1099-K process here.
